As I went through school in my small Eastern Kentucky town, I would sit and look out the window daydreaming, wondering where people outside my school windows were off to for the day. I still have that some curiosity today, and use it to highlight the places we work and play.
I studied the art of photography at the Academy of Art in San Francisco, completing my work with a Bachelor’s of Fine Art in Documentary Photography, being voted by faculty as Top 5 in my class. I consider it a privilege to showcase your passion and love whether it’s farming the land, caring for vineyards, spending a day at the beach with your family, or simply creating images for you to enjoy for many years:)
You can still hear a bit of my Eastern Kentucky accent at times. I rarely schedule shoots when the Kentucky Wildcats are playing! I love to laugh, and don’t mind poking a little fun at myself. I have two awesome grown kids and two fantastic step kids that I could not be more proud of. I have 4 grandkids, whom I love and adore plus two dogs that run my home!
I also mistakenly took my dog’s tranquilizer the morning of a big road trip. I’ll tell ya the rest of that story someday……
